We would like to invite you to nominate your students for Fall 2022 (~ Spring 2023) semester exchange program at Chonnam National University, Korea. We will nominate up to five(5) students.
[Nomination Deadline: October 30, 2022]Spring 2023 semester nomination deadline is October 30, 2022 and application deadline is November 20, 2022.Nomination and Application Timeline1. Nominate your students to Chonnam by October 30, 2022.2. Nominated students will be sent the application instructions on November 1, 2022.3. Nominated students apply with all required documents by November 20, 2022.
As part of the applications, students will be required to attach the following supporting documents.
1. [All students] Copy of most recent transcript
2. [All students] Copy of passport photo identification page (Passport must be valid for 6 months after the final day of the semester in Korea.)
3. [All students] A photo with white background
4. [Non-OECD country citizens based on the passport Only] Certificate of University Enrollment with Apostille5. [Non-OECD country citizens based on the passport Only] A bank statement in student’s name that contains at least US$5,000 per semester. (If students are applying for a year program, two semesters, it must be over US$10,000)

[Scholarships for Spring 2023 semester]
GKS (Global Korea Scholarship)Round-trip airfares, monthly allowance, and Korean medical health insurance will be wired to student’s Korean account.We select and nominate 5~10 students to the Ministry of Education based on their CGPA, Korean proficiency test score, English proficiency test score, and their study plan in December.
Merit ScholarshipWaiver of Dormitory fees and meal plan feesWe select 5 students based on their CGPA, Korean proficiency test score, English proficiency test score, and their study plan in December. Students who studied at Chonnam before gets 10 extra points.
