About BIPA

International Office of UNTIRTA in cooperation with the Language Center of UNTIRTA run a BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing) program for International Students. This program is intended to provide integrated Indonesian language services to you our international students.

BIPA Regular Program

BIPA program is held in the Language Center building at Pakupatan, the program run in 16 weeks long, from January to April, May to August, and from September to December. Classes are 20 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from 08:30 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. During the course, BIPA organizes a one-day field trip, in which you can have the exciting opportunity of visiting “off-the-beaten paths” such as schools, TV stations, factories, jails, governmental offices or any cultural places located in Banten area. If you are a beginner student, you will have the opportunity to practice using Bahasa Indonesia in a market setting.

 BIPA Special Program

In addition to Regular Program, BIPA also offers special programs that are tailor-made to meet mentees’ specific needs and goals, such as:

 

  1. Intensive Short Course for Groups

The program, which lasts for two to four weeks, is offered by request. 

You will find it an incredibly exciting program as it includes language instruction in Bahasa Indonesia, tours, and extracurricular activities such as batik painting or traditional music.

  1. Tutorial Program

This is a tailor-made program to meet mentees’ specific needs and is open to a minimum of three people per group.

  1. In-house Training Program

This program is arranged on request and is held on your own premises to ensure your utmost convenience.
