The International Office at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University (Untirta) works in partner with faculties within the university to hold a Studium Generale. This joint program between the international office and the faculties in the Untirta broadly aims to encourage students and staff to think more critically, more clearly especially related to both their disciplines and other related ones. These may include  about science, society and themselves. This program is held to encourage an in-depth discussion of these subjects and, in so doing, to take the participants beyond the limits of their own disciplines. This program is also designed to let the participants to reveal and discover new worldviews or perspectives, and at the same time also encourage them to examine the ideas they hold. To achieve all these purposes, in this studium generale program we offer various activities such as public lectures, debates and workshops.
